Do you have a story to tell?

Once again, Massmouth is partnering with Club Passim to bring you some of the best emerging and featured storytellers in Greater Boston. Join us in Trident's cafe for an evening of engaging entertainment, and dinner and drinks if you choose.

What is a Story Slam?

A slam is a contest of stories where people sign up on the night to tell a true five-minute story on the evening's theme. Ten names are drawn at random. A team of five volunteer judges evaluate the stories and select two people to advance to a semi-final in April, and potentially Massmouth's Big Mouth Off championship in May. The audience also selects a teller. Stories are judged on the following categories: connection to the theme, arc, presentation, overall impact, and how well it honors the time limit.

October Theme: Down to the Wire
