Massmouth is a Boston-based non-profit organization that promotes the timeless art of storytelling. Since our founding in 2009, Massmouth has changed the way Greater Boston and the surrounding communities tell and listen to stories. Massmouth organizes storytelling events throughout Greater Boston and surrounding communities, including competitive slams, monthly special features, and custom events. The organization also provides coaching and storytelling workshops for businesses, non-profit organizations, and individuals.

Stories from the stage

WGBH, World Channel, and Massmouth partner each month to produce a national television broadcast honoring the live art of storytelling. Stories from the Stage illustrates the power of real stories told by amateur storytellers. Recent tellers include Top Chef contestant Karen Akunowicz, Moth GrandSLAM champion Matthew Dicks, and Bates professor Michael Sargent. Stories from the Stage airs Mondays at 9:30 p.m. on World Channel nationwide. The same episodes air the next day online on PBS, World Channel, and Facebook.

Join the live studio audience: Purchase your ticket to the next show at WGBH.

Tell your story on stage: Massmouth is currently accepting submissions for our 2019 spring season. Pitch your story online.
