Stories from the Stage

Stories from the stage

WGBH, World Channel, and Massmouth partner each month to produce a national television broadcast honoring the live art of storytelling. Stories from the Stage illustrates the power of real stories told by amateur storytellers. Season one tellers featured Top Chef contestant Karen Akunowicz, Moth GrandSLAM champion Matthew Dicks, and Bates professor Michael Sargent. New episodes of Stories from the Stage air Mondays at 9:30 p.m. on World Channel nationwide. The same episodes air the next day online on PBS, World Channel, and Facebook.

Join the live studio audience: Purchase your ticket to the next show at WGBH.

Tell your story on stage: Massmouth is currently accepting submissions for season two. Pitch your story online.
